Frequently Asked Questions for Learners
I know I’ve been added as a learner but I didn’t get my invite email.
If you don't get an invitation from the Magle then please contact support please contact at help@cewca.org.
How do I login
Once you have completed the invitation process you will choose a username and password. When you navigate to the home page of the Magle, click Member Login at the upper right. Then enter you username and password in the fields provided.
How do I create a username and password
In order to create a username and password you either need to subscribe to a class and you will be prompted to choose a username and password, or you will be invited to take a lesson and will prompted to choose a username and password.
How do I take my class
When you log you will be brought to the lessons page. You can click on the lesson to take it.
How do I use the Chat
The chat has two icons on the upper right. When the blue icon is lit up the instructor is online and you can start a conversation in the box at the bottom of the chat box, then click speak. If the orange icon is lit up then other learners are online and you can start a conversation as mentioned above.
What is the Discussion Forum
The Discussion Forum is a place where you can interact with other learners taking the same class. It is class specific. Your instructor may post notes, comments, or assignments in the discussion forum.
What is my Journal
The Journal is a place where all the questions you answer in a class. You can review your answers by clicking on the Journal. If you have a class with an instructor, the instructor can comment on your entries and give you feedback. This allows learning to be an iterative and personal experience.
How do I respond to a comment on my journal. If an instructor comments on one of your responses they can respond to it by clicking Discuss to continue the conversation.
How do I upload files or videos to my journal.
If you instructor has asked you to upload a video or any other file to your Journal you will see a button labeled browse. Click it and a file window will popup. Navigate your computer to find the file you want to upload and click "OK."
How do I use my notes.
On the left hand side of the lesson screen you will see a tab labeled “Notes.” When you click on the tab it will slide out and a text box will be made available to you to type notes. These notes will be stored for you lesson and can be printed, emailed, or saved online.
